受賞のコメント

I am really delighted to win the first prize for the poster session in the ICGNB 2017.  I am really grateful to all the members of Bessho Lab for their support, especially Bessho Sensei and Nakahata Sensei for their unwavering kindness and constant guidance. This is one stepping stone for me and I hope to learn and achieve all the wonderful things NAIST has to offer in future. 

受賞内容

THE IMPACT OF CELLULAR SENESCENCE ON CIRCADIAN CLOCK

My research is about the impact of cellular aging, also known as cellular senescence, on the circadian clock. Aging has been shown to affect the circadian clock such as extension of the behavioral period and attenuation of amplitude. These effects were observed at the organismal level and the tissue level. However, the impact of aging at the cellular level has not been elucidated. So, by using senescent TIG-3 cells I want to observe the effects of senescence on the circadian clock and find possible reasons for the observed effects.
