Publishing in journals often involves stressful experiences for scientists. An efficient way to ease the stress is to know the editorial processes better. In this talk, I will introduce the editorial processes in the Nature Portfolio and general tips for writing a good research article. Based on my own post-doc experience in Japan, I hope to help Japanese scientists to promote their research in general journals, especially in Communications Biology and other journals in the Nature Portfolio.
