Education Curriculum

International training III

International training III forms part of an innovative global education curriculum (for doctoral program students) designed to foster researchers that can play an active role in the international community.

In this module, students practice discussing research in English to gain the necessary language proficiency. They will engage with Anglosphere instructors and researchers, including those from the College of Biological Sciences of UC Davis (UCD-CBS), in a two-day intensive seminar conducted in English. Before the seminar begins, students will study academic articles written in English to familiarize themselves with the technical terms and key concepts. The seminar consists of small group discussions, which encourage the students to actively contribute.

※From FY2018, International Training (Category 3) includes International Bio-seminar.
