Bio Juku Summer 2026 was held
Bio Juku Summer 2026 was held on September 10 and 11, 2026.
Through their stay in two laboratories, participants experienced the actual research being conducted in the laboratories and deepened exchanges with the faculty and students of the laboratories.
We received many comments from the participants.
• It was a great learning experience to conduct experiments used in research, such as cell culture and injections. The graduate students kindly and patiently taught us, and I was also able to get a good sense of the atmosphere in the laboratories.
• I really enjoyed being able to conduct various experiments. It was also great to talk with graduate students and ask them about student life and their research.
• Being able to actually conduct experiments myself and experience research firsthand made me realize once again how interesting research can be—something that cannot be fully understood from textbooks alone. I had a very valuable experience thanks to the kind and thorough guidance from the faculty members and students.
• Even though it was my first time conducting these experiments, everyone taught me very kindly, and I had a lot of fun. I was able to hear about many different things, which helped me better picture what graduate school and research life would be like.
• I had a very fulfilling two days and was grateful for the opportunity to talk with so many different people.
• I was able to meet new people and participate in discussions and experiences that I had never encountered before. Both laboratories were full of enthusiasm and passion for research.
• Everything—from the casual conversations and experiments to talking with the professors—was a valuable experience. It made me even more interested in pursuing graduate studies at this university.
• I was able to get detailed information from graduate students and faculty members about the entrance examination, including how to prepare for it and what I should focus on.
• I now have a much clearer picture of what research in graduate school is like. I was impressed by the opportunity to observe samples using cutting-edge equipment, and it made me even more motivated to pursue research.
