NAIST Open Campus Held on Saturday, March 8, 2025
We held "NAIST Open Campus" on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
This Open Campus is an annual event mainly aimed for prospective students. Although the weather was particularly cold on the day of the event, we were pleased to see many participants, making it a fruitful event.
For the Division of Biological Science, we conducted an entrance exam briefing in the Rethink Biological Science Seminar Hall. Additionally, faculty and students from NAIST presented posters and explained the research conducted in each laboratory on the first floor of Biological Science building. In the afternoon, the participants had the opportunity to visit each lab and have in-depth discussions with faculty members and students.
Among the participants, there were many eager students who asked questions individually. We received some comments such as, " It was easy to talk because the students were explaining in front of their posters, and it was easy to ask about entrance exams, etc." , " I didn’t expect to be able to discuss the research topics with the professors, so it was a very meaningful experience. "
