The 25th annual Yoshikawa Cup Ekiden relay race was held.
The 25th annual Yoshikawa Cup Ekiden relay race was held. In this year, we had 120 runners in 12 teams who put in a great performance, with some of them in attractive costumes. Among them, the Plant Metabolic Regulation laboratory won first place, followed by the Ubiquitous Computing Systems laboratory and the joint team of the Mathematical Informatics and Computational Neuroscience laboratories.
The costume award went to the Plant Stem Cell Regulation and Floral Patterning laboratory whose members disguised as Japanese Anime characters and entertained people watching the race.
The event concluded successfully with no injuries or accidents, and many thanks to runners, staff and people who cheered them for their cooperation and support.
