UCD Online Seminar/International Training was held.
This is an online journal club series provided by connecting NAIST with UC Davis held in January-March every year. Graduate students of both US and Japan attend the course remotely and read papers in turn. In this year, we had 12 students from the NAIST side and 13 students from the UCD side.
This seminar series consists of 8 sessions, at each of which students discuss recently published research articles in English. This is part of our program to help students become internationally competent researchers through the experience to interpret scientific data and discuss them in English. The program is intended for doctoral students, but it also serves as a good learning opportunity for master’s students who voluntarily attend it.
