Assistant Professor John Jewish A. Dominguez joined Saijo Lab!

Hi everyone. I am John Jewish A. Dominguez from the Philippines. I started working as an Assistant Professor in Saijo Lab from July 1. I am interested in tissue specific plant-microbe interactions, especially during pathogenesis. I have also worked with bacteria contributing to plant’s defense against fungal pathogens. I hope to integrate environmental factors affecting these interactions here in Saijo Lab. My pastimes include cooking, traveling and photography.
