Callus develop from wound sites, but why do the two cut ends behave differently? We found that cutting organs disrupts auxin flow, which regulates WOX13 expression and give rise to differential callus formation. We published this article in the special issue of plant stem cells of Plant and Cell Physiology! This is the first publication after we moved to NAIST.
