Oral Presentation (Main Hall)

The presentation file should be in MS PowerPoint file (.ppt/ .pptx).
We will set up computers Win and Mac with MS Office PowerPoint 2010.
All presentations were categorized into 8 sessions and each presentation is allowed 25 minutes (a 20-minute talk followed by a 5-minute discussion) or 15 minutes (a 12-minute talk followed by a 3-minute discussion).
Oral speakers are requested to hand in their presentation to the PC desk ahead of time (during the break time before their session).

Poster Presentation (Reception Hall B)

The poster board size is W90 x H180 cm.

You can find your poster number in the abstract book. Each poster board is numbered with the poster number. Please be sure that the Inquiry No. is NOT your poster number. Poster presenters can mount their posters on the board from 15:00 of October 2 (Day 1).

In the Conference, there will be two poster sessions:
Posters for Session I-IV: October 3 (Day 2) 13:25 - 14:25
Posters for Session V-VIII: October 5 (Day 4) 13:15 - 14:15

All posters have to be removed by 23:00 of October 5 (Day 4). After that time, all posters remained will be taken down by the Conference Organizers.

The social program will include Welcome Reception and Excursion for all registered participants and accompanying persons.

*Because all programs have yet to be finalized, it is possible to change the schedule.

Welcome reception

October 2 (Day 1), 18:00-20:00 at 2F Foyer of the Conference Center

All registered participants and accompanying persons can attend the Welcome reception.

Excursion

October 4 (Day 3), 13:00-18:00

We are pleased to invite all registered participants and accompanying persons to attend this Excursion.
The participants will be divided into three groups (buses).
These three groups will visit spots listed below, and then directly go to the banquet. After visiting Tako-senbei factory, one bus will take persons who will not attend the banquet to the Westin. The buses will depart from in front of the Westin.

Group A (- 40 people): 13:00 start (Sen-nen ichi shuzo - Joruri - Tako-senbei factory )
Group B (- 40 people): 13:30 start (Sen-nen ichi shuzo - Kunju-do - Tako-senbei factory)
Group C (only 20 people): 13:00 start (Joruri - Miyako bijin syuzo - Tako-senbei factory)

Sen-nen ichi shuzo and Miyako bijin shuzo: Sake brewery, factory tour and tasting.
Joruri: Traditional Japanese puppet show.
Tako-senbei: Japanese cracker containing octopus, factory tour and tasting.
Kunju-do: Japanese incense factory, hands-on tour.

Banquet

October 4 (Day 3), 18:00-21:00 at Matsuba-zushi (Sushi restaurant).

Banquet ticket (JPY 8,000) is NOT included in the registration fee.
It is a Japanese style banquet on the tatami (straw-mat) floor.

For those who will not attend the excursion, a small bus will depart from in front of the Westin at 17:00 for the banquet venue.
After banquet, all attendees will go back to the Westin by bus.
